Coping Social March 30th On Tuesday the 30th from 10:30 to 11:45 am. Everyone has a story to tell. Do you want to share your life experiences but don’t know where to begin? Author and publisher Ellen Tomaszewski talks about why you should write your story and how to begin. She’ll also discuss format options (print, audio, or digital) and what it takes to can get your book published. Ellen owns and operates Etcetera Press, a local publishing company dedicated to helping authors publish quality, low cost books. Her memoir, “My Blindy Girl – a mother’s journey through achromatopsia”, discloses one mother’s inner life – her struggles and triumphs - while guiding her visually impaired, color blind, light sensitive, developmentally delayed child through life. It’s available in paperback, large print, audio CD, MP3, and Kindle versions. St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon Wednesday, March 17th here at the center from 11:30am to 1pm (may schedule earlier pick-up). We will be serving corned beef, cabbage with parsley potatoes and shamrock cookies. Don’t miss this one! Reservations recommended as we can only seat 50 people. There is a reservation fee of $3.00 due in our office by March 10th. Dr. Winkle will be seeing patients for low vision evaluations on Thursday, March 11th & Thursday, March 25th. There is a $30 refraction fee due at time of visit. Call to schedule your appointment. March for Respect Take a step in the right direction and join our center on Saturday, March 27th for another walk. Our center is collaborating with Solid Waste Processing at Hanford.
